About Adrian Thomas

Adrian Babatunde Thomas was born in the heat of the summer in Houston, Texas. He is the middle son of civically engaged parents. His life began around the Black church, White flight, racist schools and police violence in the midst of a legacy of violence even in lower middle class Black America, trying to escape from the ghettos of the 1960s to the era of trickle down economics.

As a playwright, Thomas' work has been quoted as "Raw"..."Real"..."Woven together"... "Not watered down but baptized by truth and the fire of Black rage, love, hope, despair, desperation, legacies of ancestors stripped away and future hope in each character, play...each movement". Adrian Babatunde Thomas has over 20 years of playwriting experience and, hopefully, is not done.
