About Lori Marra

Lori is currently a playwright-in-resident at MuCCC Theatre in Rochester, NY. She has also had several of her plays read and produced throughout the United States.

​In 2007. the Spokane Civic Theatre produced Lori's one act play, No Smoking. That same year, the play also received a reading at Rochester's Shipping Dock Theatre.

In 2010, Lori won the Geva Regional Playwrights Competition for her play titled Mystic Castle, a drama about serial killer Arthur Shawcross.

Her works have appeared in many festivals including most recently the Rochester Fringe Festival. 

Lori has studied in workshops given by Jeffrey Sweet, Lynn Nottage, and Terrence McNally.
