Phil also sold 2 screenplays and script doctored 3 screenplays that were produced. His plays, A Nice Family Gathering and Mom's Gift are currently under option to be made into feature films. He wrote and directed a short film titled, The Al Oerter Comeback, featuring 4-time Olympic Gold Medal Winner Al Oerter. The film was a finalist in the Long Island Film Festival.
