Rochelle Perry has been a playwright since 2008.  Some of her produced plays include The Tell Tale Cat, When Charlie Comes Home, White Horse, In Her Dress, The Color Yellow, among others.  Her semi-autobiographical play, Japan 1946 Meets California 2010, received rave reviews. Her 10-minute play, Velma and Manny, has been published with Original Works’ eTens.  She has had plays produced at Write Act Rep, the Visceral Company, Theatre of Note, and the Eclectic Company Theatre.  Most recently, her play Quit While You’re A Head, was produced with a collection of other playlets in Curious Conversations: 8 Plays Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass.” She has workshopped her plays through Chris Kelly at Theatre of Note, Doris Baizley of the David Henry Hwang Writer’s Institute/East West Players, Lisa Soland’s All Original Playwright Workshop, FirstStage, and Trey Nichols’ Playwright Workshop.  She completed her Certificate in Creative Writing from UCLA and is a member of the Dramatists Guild and Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights.
