“SEAMUS’ LAST WILL AND TEMPERAMENT”

Synopsis:

A hilarious wake set in a funeral parlor to honor the family patriarch Seamus O’Toole. 

Act 1. Enter all of the family and friends, each with emotional baggage, and each with expectations to participate profitably in the ‘readin’ o’ the will’. Raucous singing, drinking, toasting, and a prayer by the irreverent parish priest. Seamus’ body is removed for cremation after a fun send-off. 

Act 2. When Seamus’ attorney arrives, he reads the will; however, Seamus ideas of ‘just deserts’ is quite different and unexpected by each participant. A surprise twist occurs at the ending to put things right.
