Lyricist and book writer Noelle Donfeld has three shows being performed in 2012.  Powder Puff Pilots was workshopped at High Tech High in Van Nuys, May 16 - 18, 2012.   Ghost-s had a staged reading by the Katseslas Company and a new musical,  Puritanical,  or Coffins of the Mayflower  (book/lyrics, Noelle; music, Brian Leader)  will be staged by Venture Hill Productions in Hollywood.  Noelle  had four productions/readings in 2011.  Miss Vulcan 1939 (book, Marian Partee; music, Jan Powell), had its West Coast premiere at Actors Co-op in Hollywood.   Ghost-s (book, Kindaid Jones, music, Brian Woodbury) and Powder Puff Pilots (book, Marian Partee; music, Cindy OConnor), were selected for Stages 2011 at the Lonny Chapman Theatre, North Hollywood.  A Match Made in Heaven, (book, Marian Partee; music, Lisa Bloom Cohen) was read at the Academy for New Musical Theatre in May.  Powder Puff Pilots will have a workshop production at Hi Tech High in Van Nuys, Ca., in May 2012.
 
Productions for 2009 - 2010 included The Spark, Hannah Senesh, (music by Sandy Shanin), which was read at Theatre Building Chicago as well as at Pacific Palisades Playwrights Festiva, Pierson Playhouse.  The Antique Shop (book, Peter J. Kuo, music, Nathan Wang, lyrics, Noelle Donfeld) was read at the Dramatists Guild's Friday Night Footlights and was featured in the July/Aug. 2010 edition of  the Dramatist Guild's magazine,  The Dramatist.  Squeak, (book, Sachi Oyama; music, Brian Leader) had its world premiere at La Canada Theatre, Ca. (www.lacanadatheatre.org).   Ghost-s was selected for a reading at the Lyric Theatre, Los Angeles.     Powder Puff Pilots (book, Marian Partee; music, Cindy O'Connor), developed in association with ANMT, was selected for the Festival of New Musicals at Univ. of California, Irvine.  The Revolution of Betsy Loring (music, Denise Wright) , started off this year's reading series at Encore Theatre, Dayton, Ohio and was featured on the theatre's webcast in February. Carjacked (music by Bonnie Janofsky) premiered at the Art Center's 10 by 10 at the Triangle Festival, Carrboro, NC,  for ten days in July 2009. 

Other past productions include:  Hands (co-composer Nathan Wang) which was part of Stages 2000, Theatre Building Chicago; The Revolution of Betsy Loring,  which was selected by Casa Manana, Ft. Worth, for its Tomorrow Project workshop, 2001; Twas (book, Guy Toubes; music Tom Bahler), which was commissioned by NextStage Entertainment, with workshops in Las Vegas and Houston (Stuart Ostrow, producer), 2001-2002; Aesop (story, music, Tom Bahler) which was part of Musical Theatre West's Festival of New Musicals, 2003; Shahrazad, Heads or Tales? (co-book, Stephen Oles, music, Sandy Shanin) which had concert readings at Century City Playhouse, L.A., Theatre Museum, Covent Garden, London (with Mercury Musicals), and the L.A. Theatre Center (with Playwrights Arena), in 2005 - 2006; Miss Vulcan 1929, (book, Marian Partee, music Jan Powell) which was commissioned by Red Mountain Theatre, Birmingham, AL, with a world premiere in 2007 and a second production in 2008.

Three musicals, The Revolution of Betsy Loring, Forbidden City (book by Sachi Oyama, music by Nathan Wang) and THE SPARK, Hannah Senesh, were semi-finalists in the Eugene O'Neill Musical Theatre Conference.
